CODE OF THE CONCRETE MOOSE

The Society of the Concrete Moose promotes generosity and hospitality toward old friends and new residents of the City of Thunder Bay.  To do this we make, give and trade Concrete Moose with as many people as we can.

We find that most people like to have a few guidelines in their lives.  For this reason, we’ve created the Code of the Concrete Moose.  By following these simple rules you should get the most out of your Concrete Moose experience.

Concrete Moose may not be bought or sold.

Concrete Moose are to be traded or given as gifts to new friends.

No person may care for more than one Concrete Moose at a time.

Concrete Moose may only leave or remain outside of the City of Thunder Bay in the care of a resident or former resident.

Concrete Moose are to be decorated and personalized by each caregiver.

It is generally considered uncool to keep your Concrete Moose for more than one year.

If you are unable to give your Concrete Moose to a new friend within a year, you should bring it to a park in Thunder Bay some time near Sumer Solstice and leave it for someone else to find.

INTERNET PASSWORDS ON 2009 TAGS
In 2009 we put randomly generated passwords on each of the Concrete Moose tags.  These tags were meant to be used with a “Mapping” feature on the old version of the website.  Well it never really worked.  So, if you have a code in a small window on your 2009 tag it’s mostly for decoration now.  The tags for 2010 will simply have an ID number.

This code was enacted by the Society of the Concrete Moose January 1, 2008, in the City of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. It was revised and updated on June 17, 2010.  Long live generosity and hospitality.  Long live the Concrete Moose.
