Well folks, it’s that time of year again! For those who like to track the movements of Concrete Moose, it seems like 2011 will be a very busy year. It also appears that the Concrete Moose will be migrating in a different pattern this year. For the past two years Maggles have appeared in Vickers and Waverly Parks. After speaking with wildlife experts it seems that Concrete Moose will be migrating through smaller parks this cycle.
Stay tuned for more information on the 2011 Concrete Moose Migration.
Also, if you have a Concrete Moose, now is the time to consider who you will be passing it along to.

My moose had an unfortunate accident , and has a broken piece. Am wondering if there is a way to fix him. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Cindy:
Moose tend to crack or break at the corners, so near the feet, hips or shoulders. I have had a few people fix them with Gorilla Glue, which expands and does a good job of filling the porous cement. I’ve also seen people use epoxy and then sand it down. Either case, a fixed moose is much more valuable and loved than a moose that hides in a garden all year. BTW…there will be a few new maggles of moose coming out this week. Not in the traditional locations of Waverly or Vickers….so check around.

Cindy:
I also have a few “moose bones” or extra pieces….so if you let me know which part is broken I may be able to swap it out for you.
